FLORA GREENS CLUB

Description of Club

The Flora Greens was initiated by Flora Tissue Company. This initiative educates the youth in planting trees and ensuring personal hygiene.

Club Activities

Planned activities under the Flora Greens Project  
  1. The students will be taught how to raise tree nurseries, care for trees and also simple techniques for breeding such as grafting plant for better and quality breeds.
  2. To inculcate in the children, the value of planting trees and how to care for them in a sustainable manner.
  3. Trees planted will be efficiently monitored by Flora to ensure that they are growing well.
 OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE CLUB
  1. Creative Writing: Members of the club will be given the opportunity to write essays or poems on health and hygiene and the best writer will be given an award.
  2. Crafts: Club members will be encouraged to use recyclable materials such as bottles, paper tissues, rubbers etc. for creative craft works. 
  3. Drama on hygiene 
  4. Flora Hygiene Song contest: This is to encourage the students from various schools to come up with a flora hygiene song. The best song will be used as the Club’s theme song and used across all the schools. The winning school will be awarded with varied prizes from Flora Tissues as well as the best lyricist. 
  5. Fun Games such as card games, sporting activities, monopoly, Ludo, pick and act etc. 
  6. Career Guidance and Counseling  
  7. Flora will partner with the various schools during their Speech and Prize Day to give an award to the best student of the year. 
  8. Flora hygiene games 
  9. Flora Talent show(in one of the schools, for product activation) 
  10. FloraFest – Green Arts Festival 
  11. Factory Tour
