Rev. Fr. Dr. George Obeng Appah is the Headmaster of Aquinas Senior High School, Cantonments, Accra. A Catholic priest and seasoned educator, he has extensive experience in educational leadership, pastoral care, and counseling. His leadership philosophy focuses on holistic education—nurturing students intellectually, spiritually, and socially.

He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (Swiss Management Center University) and multiple master’s degrees in Education, Business Administration, Religious Studies, and Guidance & Counseling from institutions including the University of Cape Coast and Catholic University of Ghana. He also holds professional certificates in Educational Leadership, Conflict Resolution, and Inclusive Education from universities in the UK and Australia.

His career spans roles as Assistant Headmaster (Achimota & Akramaman Senior High Schools), Board Secretary, Guidance and Counseling Coordinator, and Chaplain. As a researcher, he has published works on education, marketing, and church growth.

Beyond education, he serves as Priest in Charge at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Chairman of the Education Committee for the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra, and a Member of the Priests’ Council. His vision for Aquinas Senior High School is to promote academic excellence, discipline, and ethical leadership among students.
